SERVICE UPDATES:

• On Sunday 19th April 2026, there will be several intermediate changes to South Auckland bus routes, which includes the commencement of some new routes. Route 37 will commence operation from Manurewa to Highbrook via Puhinui (Wiri, Weymouth Rd, Roscommon Rd, Puhinui Rd, Preston Rd, Springs Rd and East Tamaki Rd). This route will be operated by Ritchies Transport. Route 39 will replace Route 361, converting it to a frequent route - no route changes will occur. Both routes 37 and 39 will operate every day, every 15 minutes between 0700hrs and 1900hrs and every 30 minutes at all other times. Route 364 will commence operation from Manurewa to Papakura via Conifer Grove (Great South Rd, Te Napi Dr, Brylee Dr, Walter Strevens Dr, Beaumaris Way, Princess St, Takanini Train Station, Station Rd, Takanini School Rd, Kauri Heart Ave, Arion Rd, Walters Rd, Grove Rd, Old Wairoa Rd, Porchester Rd, Subway Rd, Great South Rd, Averill St, Railway Street West). Route 365 will be adjusted to operate via Porchester Rd and Airfield Rd, instead of Kauri Heart Ave (which Route 364 now operates on) - returning to its old route. In the direction of Manukau Bus Station to the Panmure Interchange via Ormiston and Highbrook, Route 352 will travel through Greenan Dr, Bellingham Rd and Accent Dr (no longer travelling via Davies Ave, Ronwood Ave, Great South Rd, Reagan Rd, Preston Rd and Te Irirangi Dr) - for Reagan Rd and Preston Rd service replacements, you will now take Route 37 (transferring along Puhinui Rd from a Manukau Bus Station service). Route 362 will also undergo a route change, through Clendon Park. Route 362 will run along the whole length of Wordsworth Rd, no longer serving Rowandale Ave. Route 33 will operate every 15 minutes, during evenings. Route 363 will have earlier and later operations and a 30-minute frequency. Route 366 will operate every 30 minutes in the evenings, as well as earlier and later in the weekends. Route 379 will commence operation from Papakura Station to Clarks Beach via Karaka, Te Hihi, Kingseat and Waiau Pa (Great South Rd, Beach Rd, Hingia Rd, Linwood Rd, Kingseat Rd, McKenzie Rd, Clarks Beach Rd, Torkar Rd, Stella Dr, Stevenson Rd and return via Clarks Beach Rd...). Route 379 Will be operated by Ritchies Transport. CLICK HERE to view the 379 Bus Route Map. Route 396 will operate every hour, seven days a week, during all hours of operation. On Sunday 31st May 2026, Route 324's Princess Street and Seaside Park route section will be deprecated and will instead be serviced by another [new] bus route: Route 327 (Seaside Park to Otahuhu Train Station via Princess Street and Otahuhu Town Centre). Route 324 will only operate as far as Otahuhu Town Centre, while it also gets extended to The Landing (Te Kapua Dr). The new route description is: The Landing (Te Kapua Dr) to Otahuhu Town Centre via Verissimo Dr, Westney Rd, Mangere South, Mangere Town Centre, Favona, James Fletcher Dr and Otahuhu Station. Please note that the original route from the old 324 (Mangere Town Centre to Otahuhu Town Centre) remains unaltered. Both Routes 324 and 327 will remain under operation, through Ritchies Transport. • Over the five months (beginning 31/01/2026), all Auckland Transport bus routes listed on this website will be updated entirely, to ensure that the data aligns with Open GIS Data. This includes route descriptions, bus operators and route maps (where possible). Bus routes AIR, 30 (ex N10), 31, 32, 36, 38, 309, 309X, 311, 313, 314, 324, 325 and 326A + 326C (ex 326) will have already been updated/added by end of 31/01/2026. Thank you for your patience.

• Aucklandbuses.co.nz can yield information about school bus routes. Simply either hover over the 'Bus Routes' navigation or click on it, then click on 'Schools'. You'll be listed with the schools that have been added to this website. If you would like a school (as long as it is within the Auckland Boundary Lines and has at least one Auckland Transport-operated school bus route) added to this website, email isaac@aucklandbuses.co.nz. The majority of the Auckland Transport-operated school bus routes do not have a route map supplied with them, which is why you'll find most of them with asterisks (symbolising they don't have a route map).
